Code of Conduct

Frappe Girls is committed to a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment across events, online spaces, and community communication. Everyone should be able to learn, ask questions, and participate without fear of harassment or exclusion.

Be welcoming and inclusive

Frappe Girls welcomes people across different backgrounds, identities, experiences, professions, and skill levels. Everyone should feel that they belong here.

Be respectful

Discussions can include different opinions, but they should remain respectful. Challenge ideas thoughtfully and avoid personal attacks, mockery, or dismissive behavior.

No harassment

Harassment in any form is not tolerated. This includes verbal, written, visual, physical, or online behavior that makes others feel unsafe, targeted, or unwelcome.

Respect boundaries

If someone asks you to stop a behavior, stop immediately. Respect personal, emotional, and professional boundaries at all times.

Support a learning environment

People join Frappe Girls with different levels of experience. Be patient, encourage questions, and avoid behavior that makes beginners feel embarrassed or excluded.

Report concerns

If you experience or witness a problem, contact an organizer or the community team as soon as possible. Concerns should be taken seriously and handled with care.

Photography and media use

Photography and video recording may take place during Frappe Girls events. By attending, participants acknowledge that images and recordings may be used by Frappe Girls for its website, social media, event reports, educational materials, and future community activities.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please inform an organizer when you arrive. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.

This applies everywhere

The Code of Conduct applies to workshops, online spaces, chats, calls, email, social posts, community forums, and any Frappe Girls-related activity. Organizers and coaches are expected to uphold it actively, not only refer to it when something goes wrong.

Need help or want to report a concern?

If something happens that makes you or someone else feel unsafe, excluded, or harassed, reach out directly and report it. The goal is to protect people and preserve a healthy learning environment.
